​The Under 15 Div 4 Team played Tulsk Lord Edwards in St. Faithleachs GAA, Ballyleague on Friday June 10th in the League Final. With a strong gale blowing in off Lough Ree, the game was definitely a game of two halves.  Tulsk Lord Edwards burst into the game claiming their first score within seconds of the ball been thrown in.  They came again shortly after with a second score from a free and then a 3rd.   With nerves possibly delaying the Gaels lads reaction the first score came, and they settled into the game with scores coming from  Adam Killion, Tom Sexton and Mark Biesty and Sam Malbec Hannon.  A good few chances of scores were missed by the Gaels lads with a  half time score of 1-04 to 0-04 there was still work to be done in the second half.

The second half for the Gaels lads unfortunately didn’t go to plan.  Tulsk came out stronger with their game plan to attack our defence lines and the scores began go up on the board.  The Roscommon Gaels lads didn’t lie down but continued to make a number of breaks however finding it difficult to add to the scores.  

This group of young lads have made great progress during the course of the league,  we look forward to watching them develop further in the championship in the coming weeks ahead.
