U16 Football: Our U16 Ladies play Kilbride in a Division 2 quarter final on Tuesday 23rd of October at 8pm in Lisnamult. Hurling U-14 hurling: We lost the county league semi-final last Sunday by three points. It brings to an end what has been a long but incredible year. This wonderful bunch of players have given everyone involved with the team so many magical moments. They became the first Roscommon Gaels team in 23 years to win the county U-14 title and came within seconds of an All-Ireland title at Feile. The players have been a credit to themselves, their families and the club. If they stick together and continue to practise the skills of the game they play so well, they will bring further glory to the Gaels in the years ahead. Thanks to all who helped out during the year, not least the PRO who always put in our notes!!! Well Done Well done to former Roscommon Gaels Player Michael McHale & St Brendan’s Ladies Intermediate Team who won the Intermediate Title on Saturday. Michael McHale Captained the Roscommon Senior Team when they won the County Title in 1998. Well Done
Well done to Roscommon Gaels Aodha Hession on his selection on the Ireland U18’s squad for the trip to Treviso to play Italy later this month. Great honour Aodha, well done.
