U12 Football Blitz 12th April 2025 U12 Football Blitz 12th April 2025 U12 Football Blitz 12th April 2025 U12 Football Blitz 12th April 2025 Congratulations to the U12 Yellow Team who played against a strong Clann na nGael side this evening. The girls played with a wonderful comraderie supporting each other and fighting for every ball. After a slow start for us where Clann had the upper hand we found our feet and settled in, and each and every girl improved as the game went on. Our Purple Team are out for their first league game v Boyle at home on Sunday, with Yellows back in action on Monday at home v Oran. 28th April 28th July Our U12 Yellows were out agaubst Castlerea in Lisnamult on Monday evening for their second game of the Autumn League. The girls held their own in the first half, listened to all that was asked of them and really got into their stride in the second half with scores coming from 7 or 8 different players. Fighting hard in every single position this was well earned win and each and everyone one of them could be proud of themselves. Looking forward to building on this over the next few months of games. Well done girls. 25th Aug Well done to both our U12 Girls’ PURPLE and YELLOW teams with 27 girls hitting the road for Boyle on Monday evening, a lovely opportunity for both teams to play the same opposition at the same time and place. 💜💛 Our PURPLE team had a well deserved win against a gritty Boyle side, and while we maintained a lot of possession we finished the first half just two scores up. The girls dug deep for the second half and produced some great scores from play, with every girl performing well across the pitch and working hard until the final whistle, which brought us out on top as comfortable winners. Captain of the Purple team today was Aoibh O Rourke 🌟 Our young YELLOW team also faced Boyle this evening, it was nip and tuck throughout the first half, and while we entered half time on level scores, we perhaps should have been ahead. We started the second half with 3 points unanswered, but then Boyle found their groove and just pushed past us in the end. The girls showed some lovely passages of play and support plays, and their confidence is growing from week to week. Well done to the three u10 girls who played a massive part in the game. Captain of the Yellow team today was Molly O Grady 🌟
